The hype for GTA 6 faded a bit after leaked gameplay video was released, and people were not as thrilled as expected. Fans had been waiting for Rockstar Games to release the next big game, but instead, leaks have only caused uneasiness.
The recently leaked gameplay preview brought players back to Vice City with graphics improved for today and some modern additions, but after nearly a decade since GTA 5 fans wanted to see more. The graphics were upgraded but did not seem to make the most of the next-gen console such as PlayStation 5 and Xbox series X.
Some complained that character animation and textures were not fully developed, which inenal situation can be normal for a pre-release demonstration but still annoying for spectators longing for a well-done sample. The storyline also elicited public concern though in different fashion.
The main characters for the game are Jason and Lucia the story is in the Bonnie and Clyde sort of feel. While some players liked this idea someone though that it was not innovative enough for the series and bearing in mind that this is the sort of series that sets trends in gaming.
Furthermore, players complained to some mechanics seen in the leak like the cover system and NPC that seem archaic. No change in the gameplay resulted to fans asking whether Rockstar is developing new features to meet fans’ expectation. The main thing that should be mentioned is that leaked footage are based on the early build and may differ significantly from the final game.
Rockstar has not commented on the leak but in the past the company has stressed on quality and innovation. However, most of these viewers still hold their breath, waiting for the GTA 6 reveal, to be able to judge it and see whether it really is overhyped or not. But it has put pressure on Rockstar to release a game that has improved the open world gaming experience and make it worthy of being called the legend.
